Macduff

      All Macduff wants is a healthy Scotland. When Macbeth takes over as King, Macduff does nothing. On the other hand, when Macbeth proves to be a terrible King, Macduff goes to Malcolm. Macduff is not loyal to one particular person or administration, but rather he is loyal to a country. Macduff wants Scotland to have the best possible leadership and he will do whatever is necessary to make it so. Macduff is also given another reason to feel hostile towards Macbeth when Macbeth kills his wife and children.
     In the end, Macduff gets exactly what he wanted - proper leadership for Scotland and a dead Macbeth.
